Complete RecoveryPartition List Page
This module is designed for data recovery from Hard Disk including formatted partition, crashed file system, and without drive letters. And if you want to recover deleted files, you had better choose "Deleted File Recovery".
First of all, you will see a list of all the partitions found of all your Hard Disk. All of your partitions are arrayed by the drive letters. If the partitions did not have drive letters, they will be listed at the hindmost. And the drive letter will be instead by "*".
For each one listed here, Photo Recovery displays a number of statistics, including the volume label, the type of file system, the capacity, and its information.
If the partitions are not found on the list, please choose the "Partition Recovery".
Once you have identified the partition from which you want to recover data, select the partition and then press "NEXT" to begin "Intelligent Searching". (If you are familiar with file system details, you can change "Option" before pressing the "NEXT" button).
Select Recognized Partition Page
The Intelligent Searching module will scan on the selected partition, collect and analyze every byte on the partition, then show you a list of partitions which are possible on it.
For each one listed here, Photo Recovery displays a number of statistics, including the file system of partition, a suggestion by its data quality, its size in GB/MB, its system option and amount of matching files and folders.
In default state, the partition that was suggested in High was chosen. And the others are not chosen. This will give you a good idea of which partition will yield the best results.
If the state of the partition, which has been found, is good enough, in the system options column, you will find FAT options if this partition's file system is FAT12/16/32 or MFT option if NTFS partition. Try to use the first FAT copy or second FAT copy, or maybe even there is no FAT to get the best quality of data (depending on the nature of the damage to the disk and fragmentation of the files prior to the loss). And the same usage of the MFT for NTFS partition.
Further more, you will see a partition is green. In general, there is only one partition is green. That means this partition is most suggested to select.
To make sure your data recovery as easy as possible, we have tried to make Photo Recovery as intuitive as possible.
Photo Recovery will permit you choosing 4 partitions at most to recover the data. And then, press "Next" button. The Photo Recovery will launch the "Building directory" procedure to searching the files. You will see file/folder tree very soon.
Go to "Working with Found Data" section of this Help manual for further steps. (If you are familiar with the file system details, you can change "Option" before clicking "NEXT" button.)
Continue Previous Recovery
Once you have performed a scan with the "Complete Recovery" or "Partition Recovery", then Photo Recovery will automatically save the searching result, and later on, when you rerun the recovery module, the "Previous Recovery" graphic option will appear in the list for you to choose to continue just from the location where it was stopped.
